Production Operator

A vacancy has become available in our busy concrete manufacturing plant for a production operator.

Duties will include:

• De-moulding of previous days' production of concrete posts

• Palletising posts for dispatch

• Cleaning moulds and mould liners

• Re-setting moulds, preparing and filling moulds

• Assembly of re-enforcing cages

• Cleaning work area

Successful applicants will works as part of a team and initially alongside an experienced operator.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 6.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 6.00am - 3.30pm, the daily hours consist of 2 hours overtime which is paid at an enhanced rate.

Weekend overtime is regularly available and is also paid at an enhanced rate.

Rates of pay are in line with national minimum wage and national living wage.

This role is subject to a three month probationary period in line with Procter Bros Ltd company procedure.
