Procter Fencing Materials opens new Brentwood branch

Procter Fencing Materials has opened a new branch in Brentwood, Essex to improve customer service in the South East of England. This branch holds large stocks of Procter’s comprehensive range of fencing products and is staffed by people who know the fencing industry well and have many years’ experience. Pricing is very competitive, with products such as concrete posts and steel gates coming directly from Procter’s manufacturing plants.

Customers can collect from the branch or Procter can deliver - including anywhere along the North-South route between its sites in Leeds and Brentwood. Products stocked range from concrete and steel posts, through to mesh panel fencing, mesh rolls and security gates, plus miscellaneous items such as fence fittings, postmix, and barbed wire and razor wire. Non-stock products can normally be delivered in seven days, and special items (non-standard gates, for example) in three to four weeks. Most importantly, the knowledgeable staff at Brentwood can assist by providing rapid quotations and technical advice. Procter’s specialists can also carry out site surveys and provide design services for railings and bespoke gates. Procter Fencing Materials Director Gary Horsfall has overall responsibility for the Brentwood branch, with Carl Hambleton in charge of sales and Lee Daines managing stocks and deliveries.

Already customers are saying they appreciate the good levels of stock, personal service and the staff’s knowledge of the fencing industry. This is similar to the response received when a Procter Fencing Materials branch opened in South Wales in 2012. Typical customers include fencing contractors, builders’ merchants who stock fencing, and councils with direct works operations. Prices are published on the website, discounts are available for quantities, and special promotions are offered periodically via the website and email newsletter.

Customers can be confident of the quality of the fencing products, as the concrete posts and steel gates are manufactured by Procter Gates-Railings-Metalwork and the mesh panels are from established market-leading manufacturers. Automatic gates (swing gates, tracked or cantilevered sliding gates, bi-folding gates or telescopic gates) can be ordered through the Brentwood branch and these are also manufactured by Procter Gates-Railings-Metalwork. These gates can be delivered ready to be installed and automated.
