New team at Brentwood fencing supplier focuses on customer service

We have taken on an all-new team at its Brentwood depot, with a focus on customer service. Prices are still extremely competitive, thanks in part to many products being manufactured in-house, and the staff are keen to discuss all projects involving fencing and gates, building products and projects requiring bespoke products.

Claire Clark has joined us as Business Development Manager, bringing eight years’ experience in sales at another fencing supplier in the South East. Claire lives in Hornchurch, only a short distance from Procter’s Great Warley premises. She comments: “We are friendly and approachable, and we will always go the extra mile to help customers whether they are contractors, builders’ merchants, councils or members of the public. We arrange daily deliveries or customers can come here and collect – in which case they are welcome to coffee and biscuits!”

Since Claire arrived six months ago, stocks have been reviewed and replenished. There are now extensive stocks of concrete and steel fence posts, mesh panel fencing, mesh rolls, security gates, building products, post-mix concrete, and fittings for installing fencing and gates. In addition, there are cast stone products that have been manufactured in Procter’s state of the art Cast Stone Garforth factory, in Leeds. We are Architectural Cast Stone specialists and can design, manufacture and install bespoke cast stone products.

We also provide standard stocked cast stone items such as heads, cills, copings and pier caps. For the complete range of cast stone products, please contact Procter Cast Stone.

Procter’s concrete fence posts are also manufactured at Garforth, giving the company complete control over quality, as well as the benefit of competitive pricing that results from in-house production.

On the subject of pricing, Claire says: “We have special offers and quantity discounts, plus customer discounts too.”

If customers want non-standard fencing or gates, we can also provide these. Claire adds: “Should customers need something that is not in our usual product range, just ask and we will endeavour to source and supply it.”

Supporting Claire on the sales side of the business is Paul Cox. Paul joined us after a spell in manufacturing. He comments: “I used to work in sales and it’s good to be back. I’m enjoying building relationships with customers, getting to know them, and helping them with their fencing requirements. We are getting a lot of enquiries, and people wanting to open accounts, so I’m in regular contact with customers by phone and email, as well as meeting those who collect their orders in person.”

We have depots in Yorkshire, South Wales and Essex. The team in Brentwood serves a wide area that stretches from East Anglia through to London, the Home Counties and the south coast. For customer wanting to visit, Procter Fencing Materials is just off junction 29 of the M25 where it meets the A127.

Please contact our Brentwood team by phone on 01277 888 433, email Brentwood@fencingmaterials.co.uk, our enquiry form or visit in person at CM13 3JT. Claire and Paul look forward to hearing from you!
